Skylar Blythe
Arts Educator
Skylar Blythe is excited to be teaching with ACTING OUT Kids Theatre!
Skylar is an ESA Music Theatre graduate and was leading member of SPLASH the Canadian Show Choir Champions. Skylar has directed and choreographed several musicals for the Mooredale Community Drama Department. Also Skylar has directed high school drama students in Canadian theatre for Cawthra School of the Arts. Happy to be home after her year abroad at the University of Edinburgh, Skylar is excited to be teaching again in Roncy Village! Most recently, Skylar graduated from Toronto Metropolitan University with a bachelor's degree in Creative Industries. Skylar also teaches theatre SK- Gr. 5 for YPT (Young People's Theatre). Skylar and her theatre company performed FUNERAL AL FRESCO, an original piece written by her company and showcased December 2024! More to come for their production!

Welcome to CORE THEATRE!!
We explore the fundamentals of theatre and improvisation, offering the young actors the tools to create their own scripted theatre performance!
Each session builds on improv skills to strengthen the actors ability to create their very own scripted production throughout the year. These elements support our young actors in the development of their original collective creation presentation in the Spring!

Welcome to DRAMA CLUB!!
We explore building theatre skills and boosting self confidence in fun filled theatre based program. We encourage inclusiveness, risk-taking, improvisation, creative drama, character creation and performance skills.
Each session, our Drama Club focuses on a different aspects of theatre expression. Collective creation, improvisation, mask, clown, scene study &
monologues. These elements support our actors in the development of their original collective creation in the Spring!
